Understanding SNI 8807:2022
SNI 8807:2022 is a national standard that regulates general and specific requirements for rehabilitation service providers for persons with NAPZA (Narcotics, Psychotropics, and other Addictive Substances) use disorders.
This standard is designed to ensure that the rehabilitation process, both medically and socially, is conducted using measurable, humane methods that meet strict safety and health standards. The main focus is the total recovery of patients so they can return to being productive in society, although this standard does not cover specific rehabilitation for children.
This standard sets the general and specific requirements for rehabilitation services for persons with substance use disorders (NAPZA). Rehabilitation includes medical and social rehabilitation in outpatient and/or inpatient forms.
This standard does not regulate rehabilitation services for children with substance use disorders.
